This was Vining's debut SCCA event, where he, at just 15 years old, became the youngest licensed driver at the time and shattered the GTA track record by an impressive 3 seconds. The vehicle, powered by a 5.7 LS-1 engine producing 410 WHP, was equipped with Hoosier Bias-Ply slicks. The video captures the intense ride, including speeds over 160 MPH when entering Turn 1. The car seen at the end of the video is an 800+ HP GT-1 car, which Vining managed to hold off for several laps after an initial strong start.
