Experience a historic onboard lap with legendary driver Moisés Solana in his Lola T70 Spyder CanAm (Group 7 USRRC) at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez (formerly Autódromo de la Ciudad Deportiva de la Magdalena Mixhuca) in 1967. This powerful machine, equipped with a Chevrolet - Traco 333 engine, navigated the original 5 km track layout.

During this period, Solana famously broke the Formula 1 track record, achieving a remarkable 1'50", surpassing the previous records held by Richie Ginther and John Surtees that same year. The footage was captured with an onboard Super 8 camera by Javier G. Solana S.

Moisés Solana also set several national records with this vehicle, including:

  • December 3, 1967: MEXICO-PUEBLA (FEDERAL HIGHWAY) - 38'04"07 (Avg. 176.4 KM/H)
  • December 10, 1967: MEXICO-CUERNAVACA (FEDERAL HIGHWAY) - 20'03"08 (Avg. 172 KM/H)
  • February 25, 1968: VI HILL CLIMB PACHUCA (CHICO) - 05'06"1
  • February 2, 1969: MEXICO-TOLUCA (NAUCALPAN) - 15'15"07 (Avg. 170.5 KM/H)
  • June 22, 1969: V MEXICO-CUERNAVACA (FEDERAL HIGHWAY) - 20'04"6
