This video captures lap 4 of an instructor's session at the SCCA event held at Reno Fernley Raceway on September 9, 2012. The driver, with Ron as a passenger, was navigating the "Horsepower" track configuration for the first time in their Mazda Miata. Despite this being a new layout for the car, the session demonstrated impressive consistency, with all laps (excluding the out-lap) falling within an 8-tenths window. The recorded lap time for this particular run was 1:40.02.

The driver noted that having a passenger typically adds about 2 seconds per lap. This was a highly enjoyable event, particularly the instructor sessions. The students included a novice in a JCW Mini S and a young driver from El Salvador in an Acura, whose car performed surprisingly well, offering ample power and proving to be a good learning platform.
