Plymouth was an American automobile brand founded by Chrysler Corporation in 1928. It was conceived as a low-priced brand to compete with Ford and Chevrolet. Plymouth vehicles were known for their affordability and reliability.
Plymouth produced a variety of models, including the Valiant, Barracuda, Duster, Road Runner, and Voyager minivan. The Barracuda and Road Runner were particularly popular muscle cars. The Voyager helped pioneer the minivan segment.
The Plymouth brand was discontinued by Chrysler in 2001 as part of a restructuring effort. The last Plymouth model was the Neon.
