The Michelin Pilot Sport GT is a specialized racing tire, not street-legal, engineered in France by the Michelin Motorsport division. Its design goal is to win competitions on dry surfaces, where it adheres superbly to the racetrack, magnifying the racer's driving skills and the car's performance. It is available in sizes from 15 to 19-inches, covering a wide range of high-end supercars. These slicks come in various compounds divided into soft, medium, and hard rubber, with a reinforced architecture and a more robust carcass than similar tires.

 

Drivers using the Michelin Pilot Sport GT tires series often claim that the precise feedback and extreme handling these tires offer have not equal in the industry. The Michelin Pilot Sport GT enhances the possibilities of better time-lapses and overall performance, delivering top-notch speed, handling, grip, and safety under any conditions. Including a unique casing design with a reinforced crown that absorbs stress creating a more rectangular footprint while maintaining precise steering feedback. Its optimal temperature operating range is from 160 to 220 degrees, with a 30 to 32 PSI hot operating pressure and 22 PSI starting cold pressure.
