The Bridgestone Battlax T32 is a sport touring tire designed for riders who demand confident handling and excellent wet performance. Compared to its predecessor, the Battlax T31, the T32 incorporates an updated tread pattern and rubber compounds. The new tread pattern design more effectively evacuates water. Bridgestone's Pulse Groove Technology combines pulse-shaped grooves with small center deflectors to optimize water flow, improving grip and adhesion in wet conditions and reducing the tire's slip ratio. The silica-rich compound further enhances wet weather performance. Testing has shown the T32 provides a 7% shorter wet braking distance than the T31.
The construction and compound modifications provide capable handling in both dry and wet conditions. The updated rear design offers additional stability and a larger contact patch, resulting in increased feel and cornering grip. The T32 utilizes a single compound in the front and a dual compound in the rear. The 3LC (dual compound) rear provides grip and stability when cornering.
A GT spec version is available for heavier bikes, providing additional stability and 10% more wear life. The T32 delivers a smooth and predictable ride, even under load, making it suitable for both solo and two-up touring. The UTQG treadwear rating of 40 indicates this tire utilizes a very soft compound, prioritizing maximum grip and performance in track and competition environments.
