The Salzburgring is a road course in the middle of a narrow alpine valley, surrounded by lustful vegetation and with a reputation of being a fast track where anything can happen in the blink of an eye. A whooping speed average of 96 mph (155 km/h) is a clear indicator of what this circuit is all about: run faster than your opponents and take advantage of every opportunity to win. This exciting racing venue sits just outside Salzburg, in Koppl, Austria.  You can expect any atmospheric condition to occur in the Salzburgring, given its continental climate and considerable altitude of 670 m (2198.16) above sea level.

The layout of the Salzburgring is plain and easy to describe: two long segments going from east to west, with two closed corners in the extremes and 13 sweepers scattered between them. But the considerable vertical change of 25 meters (82 feet) and the swift cadence of the circuit elevates its technical difficulty, making everything appear in frantic succession in front of the driver's field of view. It is a dangerous layout for those inexperienced drivers who let themselves go wild with the gas pedal, as every single mistake made will be paid very costly.
