Flatrock Motorsports Park Notes

Flatrock Motorsports Park, also known as Flatrock Motorclub, is a world-class motorsport facility set on 900 acres atop Tennessee's Cumberland Plateau, located on a 773-acre site just off Interstate 40, approximately 30 miles west of Knoxville. The circuit was designed by world-renowned engineer Manuel Rubow of Tilke Engineers and Architects and is being constructed to FIA Grade 2 standard, which allows it to host any race series up to Formula 1.

The facility features multiple track configurations: a 3.50-mile Circuit Club track with 23 turns, a 2.67-mile Grand Prix track, and these can be linked to create nearly six miles of Endurance circuit configuration, with the full circuit featuring 34 turns across 5.9 miles. The track flows with the natural topography of Tennessee's scenic Cumberland Plateau and features 127 feet of elevation change, including a distinctive 18-degree banked turn (originally planned as 30 degrees). Average lap speeds of more than 100 mph are expected in GT3 machinery. The official opening for the 3.5-mile, 23-turn Club circuit for members took place on October 24, 2024. Flatrock Motorsports Park represents a significant addition to American motorsport infrastructure, bringing FIA Grade 2 facilities to the southeastern United States.
