Ltava Arena Notas

Ltava Arena is a motorsport complex located near Poltava, Ukraine. Opened in 2013, it quickly became a prominent venue for Ukrainian and regional racing events. The circuit was designed with versatility in mind, capable of hosting various motorsport disciplines.

The main circuit features a length of approximately 2.2 kilometers (1.37 miles). Its layout is characterized by a blend of high-speed straights and challenging technical corners. The track's surface is predominantly asphalt, offering good grip levels for racing vehicles. Specific features include a long main straight, several hairpin turns, and a series of flowing S-curves, demanding both engine power and driver skill. Banking is minimal throughout the circuit.

Technically, Ltava Arena is considered a relatively flat circuit, with minimal elevation changes. The track width varies, allowing for overtaking opportunities in multiple sections. The pit lane is located adjacent to the main straight, providing ample space for teams to work on their vehicles. The circuit also includes dedicated areas for paddock parking, spectator viewing, and media facilities.

Ltava Arena primarily hosts circuit racing events, including national championships for touring cars, formula cars, and GT cars. Drifting competitions are also a regular feature, utilizing specific sections of the track or dedicated drift courses within the complex. The arena also hosts various motorcycle racing events. Beyond competitive racing, Ltava Arena is used for driver training programs and track days.

What distinguishes Ltava Arena is its modern design and commitment to safety standards, combined with its location in a region with a growing interest in motorsport. It is one of the few FIA-certified circuits in Ukraine, and its versatile layout makes it suitable for a wide range of racing disciplines, contributing to the development of motorsport in the country.
