This video captures a CAMS Supersprint Round 2 session at Wakefield Park on May 14, 2017. The conditions were excellent for the first day of this double-header event. The driver achieved a new personal best lap time of 1:12.41 in their Mazda MX-5 NC, improving their previous best by a small margin. This particular lap was recorded during the final run of the day, even with more than half a tank of fuel. It was immediately followed by another lap of 1:12.424, which could have been even faster if not for a mistake in the final turn.
