Every race feels better than the last.
A costly mistake on the opening lap at T9 required me to fight to get my P2 starting position back while defending Curtis from behind. Once I took care of some business, I pushed like hell to catch up to Joe, and did so at T14 just before the last lap.
I made one attempt after getting a run coming out of T13, but backed out at the last moment. Joe locked up which let me get along side after T14. But he recovered well which stopped me from capitalizing on his mistake.
On the last lap, Joe again locked up at T14. Smelling fresh blood, I got overly ambitious on the gas and made a big correction though still managed to get a run out of T15. From there, it was a quick draft and a drag race to the checkered flag.
Joe inched out ahead by 0.068 seconds.
What a rush.
