Round 2, Race 1 of the 2022/23 BMW Race Driver Series held at Manfeild Circuit Chris Amon. No telemetry unfortunately.

Race 1 of the round and my first time at Manfeild for the BMWRDS
I had high hopes for this round being my local track and probably the track I'm most familiar with. 

I had a great start, after an average qualifying, but pretty much immediately found that these three-round old Michelin slicks have really passed their prime and I was struggling for traction the entire race. I did however set a new personal best of 1.17.896 which I'm stoked about. But I know there is a couple of seconds still in the car if I can get the handling (ride height) dialled in and finally get some new tyres.

Also, when I got back to the pits I discovered a massive power steering leak which resulted in no power steering for the subsequent races...
