July 16, 2018 - Laguna Seca Raceway - Monterey, CA. This is me in my 2015 Radical SR3 hunting down an Oreca LMP car in a few sessions (clipped together). I was wringing the F out of the Radical to reel this guy in. Red mist big time.

This was a very rare 105dB limit track day hosted by Exclusive Track Days, where the open race group was limited to cars with a *maximum* lap time of 1:36. This was a crazy fast group, thus some amazing and very loud cars showed up.

The first clip is the morning session, where I was closing the gap to the LMP car but the checkered flag came out before I got him. The second clip is from later in the day - starting right at the end of 2 consecutive identical 1:30.74 laps, just as I was closing on the LMP car. Note the slide into T2. A few laps of chasing, with him pulling away every time we got into clean air. I kept closing in braking and corners, then got him under braking into the corkscrew, then checkers. Yisss! So much fun this day!!
