Join me for a full onboard lap from the Ginetta Junior Scholarship at Blyton Park — clocking a 1:12.5 lap in my first time driving a Ginetta G40.
This event brings together some of the UK’s best young drivers, all competing for a fully-funded season in the Ginetta Junior Championship — one of the most respected entry points to car racing.
Coming from senior karting, this was a huge learning curve: managing braking technique, throttle control, and smooth corner exits while getting used to the car’s weight and balance. Every lap was about adapting, learning, and finding pace.
