On May 28, 2018, this 2013 Audi TT RS tackled WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca. The session, part of Day 2 with NCRC's Open group, featured a talented and courteous field of drivers. Conditions were dry with temperatures between 80-85° F.

The car is equipped with Bridgestone Potenza RE-71R 255/35/19 tires, on their fourth track day. Engine modifications include a Loba LO500P hybrid turbo with a 034 91 octane tune (update v1.37x), stock airbox, HGP downpipe, and AWE mid-pipes. Suspension features KW Clubsport 2-way coilovers, with -2.3° front camber, -1.6° rear camber, zero front toe, and stock rear toe. The rear was slightly lowered by approximately 0.25" to correct the factory forward rake. Mechanical grip is enhanced by a Wavetrac LSD in the front.

This particular session involved navigating through a "gaggle of Miatas" during the first half, making for an engaging experience with plenty of passing opportunities. While the Miatas occasionally made things interesting by not yielding apexes, the overall driving was enjoyable. Although the tires were hot towards the end, preventing the absolute fastest times, this lap of 1:49.000 showcases the car's performance in traffic. The driver's best lap of the weekend was a 1:45.6, achieved on Day 1, with most laps ranging from 1:46-1:48.
