Very interesting friendly competition between my friend Calvin's track-prepared C4 Corvette and my Flyin Miata 410whp (18 psig, corrected) FMIIR GT2871R turbo with built engine and R comps. Calvin is a very skilled driver and his car is fast even on non-R comps. I was running 14psig boost (~340 whp). The fast lap before I went off in turn 13 was 2:06.7. Data overlay was Harry's Laptimer Pro but it was using the 1HZ GPS from my iPhone (rather than the 10hz plugin) - which hung up as you will see. Back straight top velocity was ~130 mph. Lateral g's were often above 1.2 g This Miata is very fast and very competitive.
