First time starting on the front row of the grid. Had a great start and managed to lead the race for a couple of laps but couldn't keep Adam's fiesta behind for long and dropped to third behind the Integra after a few more laps. After getting back up into P2 we held the position comfortably. All was going well including the pit stop which was longer than it could have been! Unfortunately on the out lap after the pit stop coming out of the vale chicane we had a major failure of the engine mount and driveshaft which then destroyed the engine! The car had some serious pace but it wasn't meant to be this time! I'm hoping we can get the car sorted and back on the grid for this year to hunt those podiums!
