This stint did not go so well with Terry driving, where the transmission would not shift and the engine found some sort of popping sputtering rev limiter. This car was not out of fuel (over 1/2 tank) and the drivers before and after his 4 attempted laps had no such issues. There were no warning signs or high temps on coolant or oil. 

The only thing he did differently was left foot brake into corners, but this issue always happened on straights. It is still a mystery. 2 of 4 attempted laps shown.
