Thank you to my friend Lorenzo Fantozzi for inviting me to co-drive with him in his Spec Miata for the 1 hour enduro! With only a 15 minute session for qualifying I was trying to learn the car and set a reasonable lap time to give us a good starting spot for the race. With no drafting partners in the area the best I could run was a 1:24.3. With the no chicane configuration the draft in an SM is huge for lap time, but I was happy with the time I put down to get 9th on the grid. I was driving below the limit in multiple areas, but wanted to make sure I kept the car in one piece! This was my third time driving an SM and now I think I want one haha. Will be sharing the race footage soon where we finished 7th.
