Video is of the fastest lap turned by a sports car during the Spring Mountain December Race weekend .... lap time 2:49.3. Car was driven by one of the top instructors at the SM Driving School, the great BC. ;-)
Tires were at 8 heat-cycles, so not the freshest as they are typically "heat-cycled" out by then and "corded" at 11HC. Not making excuses for BC -- it was his first time driving the car, and he drove a great lap, IMHO. Even faster lap times are clearly possible.
