This video captures a Bridge to Gantry (BTG) lap at the Nürburgring Nordschleife in a BMW M4 GTS. The lap time recorded by the VBOX-HD2 is 7:29.41.
This was only the driver's fourth lap in the car on this track after a year-long break, with the first two laps dedicated to setting tire pressure. Despite feeling "ring rusty" and not pushing the car to its absolute limits, the driver managed to shave 15 seconds off their previous lap time.
The vehicle is 100% stock, weighing 1610 kg with a full tank of fuel and water, and approximately 1690 kg with the driver on track. The car's setup used stock high street/Nürburgring settings, with the front splitter maxed out and the rear wing set to track setting No. 2 (out of three available settings).
The driver noted that the M4 GTS, in its stock configuration, offers a significantly better driving experience than a stock Porsche GT4, particularly due to the absence of understeer.
