First 2026 shakedown at the "new" re-paved Mission Raceway, with my new wheel/tire reverse staggered setup.
PB 1:14.47 for this session.
Track felt good even though temp wasn't ideal. It is definitely a bit more enjoyable now.
But the 295/265 setup...man. I will never go back to running square setup on this car for the track. What a difference! So much improvement all around. Putting down power, braking, turning in. Keep in mind these RT660 are 3 years old. These are the same tires I ran on the TSX a couple of years ago.
The Remus full exhaust makes a big difference too, now I can actually hear my car..and so can all of Mission's residents probably.
Oil temp was steady, even after 15 push laps. It was a cool night so that was the least of my worries, considering the car never overheated on a hot summer day last year.
Apologies for the shaky footage, it was my first time ever doing an evening session and I guess my GoPro is not a fan of low light!
