The Ford Focus ST Mk4, introduced in 2019, is the high-performance variant of Ford’s fourth-generation Focus lineup, blending everyday practicality with spirited driving dynamics. Powered by a 2.3-liter turbocharged EcoBoost engine, the Focus ST Mk4 produces 276 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque, delivering robust acceleration and impressive mid-range punch. This engine, shared with the Ford Mustang EcoBoost, allows the Focus ST to achieve a 0-60 mph time in under six seconds, making it one of the quickest hot hatches in its class. Available with a 6-speed manual transmission for purists or a 7-speed automatic for added convenience, the Focus ST combines versatility with performance.
Ford equipped the Focus ST Mk4 with an electronic limited-slip differential to enhance cornering grip and stability, especially during aggressive driving. The suspension is tuned for performance, with selectable driving modes that adjust settings for throttle response, steering, and traction control. In "Track" mode, the Focus ST unlocks its full handling potential, aided by a specially tuned chassis and stiffer suspension components for improved control.
