Instructor/Coach achieves near Porsche GT3 speeds on Summit Point Main

A 1:18 lap time goal on Summit Point Main is over! 🙂  The 1:18.855 time was officially recorded Friday 4/29/22 with a transponder during TT with WDCR SCCA.  The TrackAddict app did not start the GoPro, so I went out again on Saturday afternoon at 1:05 PM just to get this video.  The 1:18.8 run went down basically the same way. In this video, you can see where I blew those 2/10ths of a second with a late upshift at Turn 6.  

Five year goal to get in the 1:18's has been met. Time to relax and just have fun instructing, coaching and mentoring the next generation of high performance drivers. 😀
