After a weeks and weeks of DNF's, mechanical failures, electrical failures, and unyielding bad luck, we returned to WSIR to do battle once more.
Of course, luck was still against us, and we were plagued by electrical issues we thought we resolved all day Saturday, fixed them, only to have a mechanical issue during Sunday qualifying, landing us at the back of the ST4 field for the main event.

With everything seemingly fixed, we went into the race in full attack mode.
On the second to last lap, smoke came into the cabin from the rear (you'll see me panicking, flipping off my coolsuit and FIA light, thinking one of them could be the culprit, only to realize on the final lap, that the smell was axle grease. The axle clicked its way across the finish, and was clunking so hard by the time I rolled off the post-race scales, I had to load the car onto the trailer from impound.
