During Chin Track Days "happy hour". I made it out earlier in the day as well but did not record.

NEW
z06/Grand Sport front Brembo calipers
Girodisc rotors
EBC SR-11 front/SR-21 rear pads
RE-71RS 3 of the 4 tires

other stuff
Hotchkis Sways full soft
Apex wheels

The new brakes helped quite a bit but are only worth about .5 seconds as most of that is coming into T-10a. The braking zones into T-1 and T-6 are lower speed and so would not be a bigger influence. I was not giving super consideration to the new brakes as the corvette paradigm is not like a german car and still leaning on "rev match" instead of heel/toe. This setup does seem to offer a more consistent pedal feel. So most of the lap time improvement came from fresh tires.

I had just done alot of cooling work after Watkins Glen but it is alot cooler in October than June and about 10degrees F less. I still had "last white tick" oil temps but the water temps were lower, I then would shift around 6000RPM. It will require an oil cooler change to get cooling under control unfortunately.

The new thermostat seemed to be sticking closed as a 160F unit, so it was gutted. I also had a hose clamp that was loose allowing weeping and this needed to be fixed to get back on track as temps still went a bit too high steady state. Due to rain and this condition Sunday I missed most of the track time until later in the afternoon.

Chin Track Days are a great auspice but the paddock is great too, as cars are well prepared and driven well especially in the top 2 groups!
