Flat out lap in my Porsche 718 GTS at Autódromo Los Volcanes (Guatemala).
Mid-engine balance, short wheelbase and turbo torque make this car challenging but extremely rewarding when pushed at the limit.
I truly believe this car still has at least 2 seconds left.
With suspension upgrades, a more aggressive alignment, stiffer sway bars, lower springs, more power and proper cooling, this 718 GTS can definitely go quicker.
Add real track tires and a 1:25 lap doesn’t sound crazy anymore — it feels realistic.
For now, I’m genuinely happy with what this entry-level mid-engine Porsche delivered today.
This is just the beginning.
