My quickest lap from this weekend, a 2:45.8 at one of my new favorite tracks, Ozarks International Raceway.

I'd heard amazing things about Ozarks - how fast and intimidating it could be, but also rewarding. I'm happy to confirm that the hype is real and that this track is incredible. The elevation change has to be seen to be believed and the combination of blind crests and extreme elevation change mean that fundamentals like vision and a real understanding of weight transfer are needed to push.

Traffic management is really tough here, so I never got a perfect lap with the car/tires nice and cool and without getting held up a little - at least the Mustang here was eyes-up and got me by quick. With some more practice and better traffic I think the car could take another couple seconds off. The CTR was awesome, and I think this track really plays to its strengths.

This place is special and if you're any kind of driver I can't recommend it enough.
