Koriyama is Fukushima Prefecture's most populous city (Fukushima City is prefectural capital but has less population). Koriyama residents have pride of being "Fukushima's center." But hit by 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake. Nuclear accident impact. For Koriyama residents, "2011" is a special year. Koriyama residents recovered from disaster. But that experience changed their life view. For Koriyama residents, "safety" is top priority. The "risk-taking culture" called motorsport doesn't fit. Koriyama has no circuit. Koriyama residents live in Fukushima's center. Not interested in motorsport.
