G-Max RS

The General G-Max RS is an ultra-high performance summer tire designed for drivers of sports cars, performance sedans, and sporty coupes. It aims to deliver a balance of confident grip and reasonable tread life for enthusiasts who enjoy spirited driving. The G-Max RS carries a UTQG treadwear rating of 360.

This tire incorporates design features to promote both dry and wet road handling. The G-Max RS utilizes General's SmartGrip Technology, which provides crisp steering response and sporty handling. The tire's tread pattern includes wide, angled notches and deep circumferential grooves to channel water away from the contact patch, enhancing hydroplaning resistance and wet traction. A solid center rib is designed to provide confident on-center feel and aid in acceleration and braking.

The G-Max RS also features StabiliTread Technology, which creates a wide contact patch with even pressure distribution. This is intended to improve cornering traction and promote even wear across the tire's surface. General's SmartMonitor Technology is incorporated, with a Replacement Tire Monitor molded into the tire's center rib. This indicator visually alerts the driver when the tire has reached the wear bars and needs replacement.
