2005 Mazda RX-8 base 6MT setting the NASA TTD record at Dominion Raceway in Thornsburg, VA during the October 2016 NASA "Zombie Sprints" event. NASA TT is a time attack style event where the best lap of the day is counted.

Affectionately known by locals as "the Thornburg Ring", it is a technical track that combines high speed straights, low speed technical sections, and city circuit style barriers with plenty of opportunities for left foot braking.
