This video captures the best lap of 2:33.65 achieved during the first session (D session) at Intercity Istanbul Park. According to Harry's Lap Timer, a 2:32 lap time might have been possible based on optimal sector times. The driver notes time losses due to other cars at the exits of turns 6 and 8, and remaining in 3rd gear through turns 12, 13, and 14. Without these issues, a 2:32 lap could have been achieved.

The audio for this lap was sourced from an LG G3 phone, as the GoPro used for the video had an audio malfunction. Due to compatibility issues between the LG G3 and Harry's Lap Timer, the LG video footage appears unstable, but telemetry data will be provided separately for those interested.

Key vehicle modifications contributed to this performance: 205 Group A Bilstein rear shock absorbers significantly improved rear grip. The shortened gearbox with a 4.93 final drive ratio also aided acceleration, despite the driver still adapting to it. Brake performance was notably more stable compared to the previous track day, with minimal pulling under hard braking, thanks to caliper seal replacements and piston corrosion removal.

The Yokohama AD048 tires began to lose front-end grip towards the end of the first session and performed even worse in the second session.
