FYI - Hit the Johnson Club Circuit on the Garmin - same Grand Prix Track but different start/finish line. Just bought one of the last 2025 Darkhorses (with Carbon Fiber Wheels - no longer available as an option in 2026). It has the track package, 6 Speed, Carbon Fiber Wheels, Recaro seats, etc... Finally had 1,000 miles on it, changed the oil and filter then took it to Sebring for the first time. I am amazed that the car came in 1.6 seconds slower than my GT350 which has all the suspension springs, sway bars, etc from Steeda, as well as the 20lb P51 rims with the Good Year 3R tires. In comparing the 2 cars, the GT350 carried more speed in Bishops by about 4 MPH or 124 MPH versus 120MPH. Also carried more speed at the end of the big straight. The Darkhorse felt more refined and the brakes....OMG the brakes.....if I had to point to an item that was most significant in terms of change/improvement, it would be the brakes.....WOW they are AMAZING! I have the 2018 GT350 that came with the drilled rotors which work significantly better than the later model GT350 rotors which they eliminated the drill holes....and the Darkhorse has significantly stronger brakes. So I look forward to making some changes to it to with both power and handling upgrades.....but no SUpercharger....want to remain Naturally Aspirated :)
