1.59.51 and 1.59.53 new personal best in the F80 at East.
Been 2.5 years since I signed up for an East day with the F80. Haven't had the itch since I snagged my first sub2 on Nitto NT01's back in Oct 2023.
Heard that East is getting repaved during the summer. Wanted to get one last attempt at a new PB on the old surface. This time on a set of 200tw (RE71RS). Ended up shaving half a second off. With a mid 58 optimal.
Forgot to turn my Camera on for the 1.59.51. Only have catalyst footage for that.
Ended up doing a 1.59.53 the next session with the camera on. So, I am leading with that lap for the video. Is a better reference.
The car can do 58 for sure. Anything below that will start to become struggle bus. This much weight being thrown around with no aero is tough. The car was not running the Bootmod3 tune I have had over the last several years. For what it's worth. Stock tune.
