Tuesday 9th July 2019 - Colin Lawsondoing a fast lap of Oulton Park International Circuit in his Ariel Atom 3 300 (310 bhp, supercharged). This wasn't the fastest lap Colin has ever done, but it would have been if it hadn't been for a red flag just as he was exiting the last corner. This lap was a 1:54.78, but until he saw the red flags/lights as he exited Lodge corner, he was 1.2 seconds up on his fastest ever lap of 1:53.90. When the red lights came on Colin backed off and did the last 300m at 72 mph instead of acclerating to 115 mph. If he hadn't backed off this would have been a 1:52.70 lap!
