Atlanta Motorsports Park (CCW) Track Map
More details, lap times & videos for Atlanta Motorsports Park (CCW)

Atlanta Motorsports Park is a racing complex designed by Formula 1 track architect Hermann Tilke in 2012, with a 1.83-mile main road course and a kart racing track. It sits in Dawsonville, Georgia, 60-miles north of Atlanta. The Park's vision is to be "the ultimate motorsports playground," and it focuses on high-performance training for race drivers, as well as amateur racing competitions.  With an average of 217 sunny days a year and hot summers, it is easy to think Atlanta's weather is almost perfect, but make no mistake: heavy thunderstorms and tropical depressions are common year-round too. It's always good to check the weather forecasts to prepare for racing here.

The road course feels very fast to drive and features several ups and downs on its counterclockwise trajectory, for a total vertical gain of 56 feet. Some remarkable features of the track are the 11-12 turn combination, which replicates SPA Francorchamps' Eau Rouge-Raidillion, or turn number one, a heavily-banked, downhill, tight left-hander that comes right after the fastest segment of the track. All in all, you need to be a very skilled driver to succeed in Atlanta Motorsports Park main track, with its blind corners and fast sweepers coming in quick succession.
