The Chicago Street Course is a temporary racing circuit constructed in downtown Chicago, Illinois. Its debut occurred in 2023, marking a significant and novel addition to the motorsport landscape in the United States. The course weaves through iconic city streets, offering a visually stunning and challenging racing environment against the backdrop of Chicago’s skyline.

The track layout utilizes sections of Grant Park, Columbus Drive, and Lake Shore Drive, creating a 2.2-mile (3.54 km) circuit. Notable sections include the sweeping turns around Buckingham Fountain, demanding precision and car control. The long straights along Lake Shore Drive offer opportunities for high-speed runs and overtaking. The tight 90-degree corners test braking ability and mechanical grip, requiring drivers to skillfully manage tire wear throughout the race.

The circuit's surface consists primarily of asphalt and concrete city streets, presenting a unique set of challenges compared to purpose-built racetracks. The track is relatively flat, with minimal elevation change. The course is designed to be a temporary facility, meaning all barriers, grandstands, and support infrastructure are erected and dismantled annually. The primary racing event held at the Chicago Street Course is the NASCAR Cup Series race, the Grant Park 220. It represents NASCAR's first-ever street race in its 75-year history. The inaugural event also included an IMSA sports car race, showcasing the versatility of the circuit.
