As part of R&T's 2023 Performance Car of the Year testing, we lapped the contenders at Monticello Motor Club's north course to get a baseline of what they could do. That included the C8 Corvette Z06 with the Z07 package. Our editor-at-large Travis Okulski was driving these laps, and there are a few things we should make clear before you view the video and then hit the comments:

- He's not a pro, but is a licensed club racer.

- The idea isn't to run an all-out record, but instead to make sure we get a representative time for the car.
