1/21/2024 Hot Lap at PBOC Winterfest HPDE. The lap time is my personal best at Sebring in my 2019 991.2 Carrera Cup car. I bought the car, my first actual race car, just over a year ago, after several years of tracking Porsche 911 GT3s and a GT3 RS. The transition to the Cup car has been a real learning experience since the car does not have traction or stability control. Despite the learning curve, laps in the Cup have become a rewarding raw driving experience. The more seat time that I have in the car, the better my lap times. I feel that I'm starting to skillfully drive the car, and I look forward to my future track days, with a smile on my face.
