the updates i changed in the car is as following: 4 sets of 285 Hankook RS4 from @smmotorsport and a set of brand new EBC Yellow Brake Pads.
maybe if one day i have more budget, i will try Cup2. i am saving up for pagid brake pad next and brake master cylinder because after 2 laps, i start losing brake pressure. i am using RBF600 fluid
i know 285 doesn’t necessarily means more grip, but i understand the contact patch will be wider side to side but shorter front to back, so i changed my driving slightly and slide the 4 wheels abit more using momentum… i didn’t go much faster than 265 PS5, because i was struggling to change my driving habits… at the end of the 20th lap, i finally managed to get faster… i didn’t brake as hard and let the car roll abit more and do 4 wheels sliding to eventually obtain friction and finally grip.
however now with grippier tyres, my basic street coilover ST from @art_tembox7 is starting to lean abit more than i want to and it has very limited adjustment… at this stage, i need to get a better suspension for track. don’t get me wrong, the ST has been comfortable and good value for money. however the circuit demand abit stiffer suspension with abit more adjustment.
so i started calling around and that is when @luckyrzr @stancelab.id provided me with ISX VS @isxcoiloversindonesia
so the next time around, i hope i can get abit more adjustment and cut abit more laptime.
