Super hot day, weather apps were saying high 90s in the afternoon, car was reading over 100 degrees in the paddock. I'd managed a 2:07.5 in the morning, then I went out with an instructor, which reminded me that instead of trying to go fast, I should try to maintain momentum. This was my last session that day, hottest part of the afternoon, and I took 1.5s off my morning's time. Need to keep that in mind for the future.
