This day is one of those race days for everyone who was there to remember. 36 degree temperatures and rain turning to snow. For me, in addition to the weather, I started 11th had got to fourth by the exit of Turn One. By the exit of Turn Two I was in third, but in this short Super Sprint that is far as I got. Marc LaCorte and John Nugyen were just too fast.
Check out the cool lap one Turn Two exit drift by Josh Carroll. He held it together great, but it cost him a position. There are not many drivers I trust to pass on the outside when they are sliding like that. Josh Carroll is one of those drivers I knew would gather it up. Weather conditions for both races were awful, but that is what made it so much fun.
