Yesterday was Chicago Region SCCA Track Event #2 at Autobahn Country Club in Joliet, IL running the full 3.56 mile, 19 turn circuit and I had an incredible time. 

VOLUME DOWN RECOMMENDED, GOPRO WIND AUDIO (Sorry! I'll buy a mic setup soon)

I was in the Novice group for my first time on the Full Circuit and my first track day with the car since changing suspension, wheels. and tires to the new setup. 

This was from the second session which was my first real hot session after taking the first for orientiation and to pace with friends. 

I did my best to edit the GoPro footage to start and stop at the finish line on the North Circuit side, I believe I ran the lap at approximately 2:57.

I feel like I was pretty quick for learning the track and car together, but I would have been much faster with better brake pads and fluid. I've never found the limit to them in autocross or spirited driving but the brake fade was notable and I played it safe. 

Time to upgrade!
