The conditions precluded super fast laps at Autobahn for this NASA event, especially for the HPDE 2 folks. The rains seemed to be centered around the race groups and the level 2 sessions, bad luck since ABCC South is a tricky track to learn even in good conditions. Mel runs a really nice line here and with a stickier track could have carried more speed. An instructor in the red Miata trails her for the first part of the lap and passes to do some instruction from ahead around turn 6. That's one of the really nice things about NASA, they want you to improve and the instructors really work hard to help. The car is the NC1 Mazda Miata with some nice track suspension mods.
