In keeping with the theme for the second half of 2025 driving season, here is a mediocre lap of Road America in the pouring rain. As is typical for a rain lap I'm not on any particular racing line and just trying to find traction where it is available. What you can't see from the video is that it's damned cold, around 45 degrees Fahrenheit and the wind is blowing at force 3. All things considered I think this is an OK lap given the conditions. Thankfully I had new Azenis 660 tires installed just before this event or I probably wouldn't have bothered driving in the rain at all. The car is my 100K+ mile 1999 Porsche 996 on Ohlins RT coilovers with lots of other suspension mods and stock power.
