My fastest lap to date around Zwartkops Raceway in my VW Challenge Class B car, which I completed during the SuperHatch Invitational at the Extreme Festival held in June 2024. A decent lap but still time to gain; an optimal lap based on my own laps would be 1:15.5, and I think there's a few tenths more than that.

My car may have been one or two kg's underweight per VW Challenge rules (I didn't refuel for the invitational) but I also ran on my practice tyres so I believe it's still a fair representation (I did do two 1:15.9s during Race one on the day).

I drive a VW Polo 9N with a 2L8V AGG engine built to the VW Challenge Class B regulations. So, for example, the engine is built within the required technical parameters, the gearbox has the specified gear ratios with an open diff, and this 4-door ex-Polo Cup car is fitted with Koni adjustable shocks.
