After having the enormous privilege of participating in the Corvette ZR1 Performance Driving School at Spring Mountain Motorsports this week, I thought you would enjoy seeing a recording of one of our sessions. The video was recorded on June 5, 2019.

We were driving 2019 Corvette ZR1s equipped with manual transmissions and Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires. The track was set up in the Villeneuve configuration, which is a challenging 2.2 mile course with 10 turns, a couple of straightaways, and good elevation changes. This was one of the "lead / follow" sessions led by Justin "JJ" Johnson, who is not just a great guy but an amazing driver and fantastic instructor.

There were 3 of us on track following JJ, and each of us had a chance to rotate into the second position. My personal lap time in the second position was 1:52.45, which starts at 12:25 and ends at 14:18.
