This video captures one of my best laps during a NASA TT3 event at Pittsburgh International Race Complex in June 2017. I was driving my Ford Mustang GT S197, equipped with 315mm R7 tires, a stock engine, and aero modifications. My best lap time was 1:53.250, which was just 1.0 second shy of the track record set that weekend.
While I believe I could have shaved off a few tenths by hitting more apexes and braking later, achieving a full second faster would require further grip enhancements and refining my driving technique. This was my first time on the full course after the old section was repaved, and I found the track to be incredibly engaging and diverse, comparable to NCM Motorsports Park. I'm definitely looking forward to returning.
