This video captures a best lap in a highly modified 2003 BMW M3 at High Plains Raceway on May 28, 2016. The car features extensive race-oriented upgrades, including a stock intake, Fabspeed catless headers, and a stock section1/2/3 exhaust. Performance enhancements include Rogue Engineering race underpullies, a gutted interior with a full cage from Hawk Industries, an S2R fiberglass sunroof delete, and a 5-speed transmission swap paired with a Tilton dual disc race clutch and Bimmerworld race shifter.
Cooling is managed by a CSF radiator, CSF oil cooler, Spal electric fan, and Bimmerworld oil diverter valve. The car runs on 18" x 10" ET35 Apex ARC-8 wheels fitted with 275/35-18 Hoosier R6 tires. Suspension modifications include MCS 2-way coilovers, Vorshlag camber plates, SPC rear camber arms, solid bushings throughout, a Turner Motorsports front swaybar, and a stock rear swaybar. Braking power comes from an Essex Racing front BBK with Ferodo DS1.11 front pads, Carbotech XP-8 rear pads, Spiegler stainless brake lines, and Torque RT700 fluid. Lap data was recorded using a Traqmate Classic and GoPro Hero 3.
