Trackday 23 in the G87 and back at Sonoma after a 2 month HPDE break. Only change is new EBC RP-X pads. Last time at Sonoma I was consistently doing consistent 1.49s-1.50s with a best of 1.49.00. After spending the 2 month break studying mine and others Sonoma videos, I further improved with a new PB of 1.47.9!

I'm trying out the helmet cam view, and the old Hero 8 I was using seems to be dying, so only got Session 2 with this cam, but at least it captured my PB!

Notes: - New EBC RP-X pads installed. I had Pagid RSL29s, and while they seemingly last forever, I never was happy with the bite these provided and always was left wanting more to have more confidence to brake later. Consumables are $$$ and these RP-X pads were a little over $600 shipped from Extreme Powerhouse. I've run these before and am pretty satisfied with the performance of these RP-X pads. Stronger bite, zero hint of fade. Biggest downside is fitment...like all the EBC pads I've used. EBC front pads always very slightly too big and I always have to lightly dremel the sides to get the to fit proper. The rear pads loudly rattle over any bumps on the street. But I supposed it's worth it for the price being almost half of others. - T8/T9: I'm carrying more speed through the esses after analyzing my previous videos with telemetry data - T11 RP-X pads gives more confidence to break later here and also think I did better with my line through here - Continental ExtremeContact Force tires have impressive wear endurance. 7 trackdays in and still have a few more. However, I'm really left wanting for more max grip. When these wear out, I'm going to go with Nanking CR-S - Session 1 and 2 was run in MDM mode, but rest of day I practiced with full ESC OFF with MTC 6. As with last time, I was only off by factions of a second, again I think showing the low-intrusive nature of the CS tune's changes to MDM. - Next upgrade really needs to be a race seat. I'm so tired of fighting and straining to stay in my seat. Really want to do suspension upgrades, but I think a better seat needs to come first.

Great weekend overall and thanks to Fast In Fast Out for a fun trackday!
